2011 Jul 12 "Hi Everybody! Just to let parents know: we had a situation for a 1st Oliver Scout parent today. The bank called her to advise her that her son's account had been possibly compromised. The account was showing activity from both Vancouver and Fort St. John's. I called the admin office at PJ (who was incredibly helpful :) ), who stated that there are ATMs and machines from both of those places, among other cities throughout BC. I wanted to advise other parents of this occurance, so that nobody worries."
Thanks to Brenda Field for this information. We since learned from the youth's mother that the bank has cancelled his card.

Hurry up and register!
Hi everybody. I just want to encourage you all to, if you haven't already, register for PJ2011. Need to get people organized into jobs and teams built and that isn't easy to do if we don't know who is committed to coming.

So go to the registration page www.pj2011.ca/registration.htm and sign up ASAP!
If you have been recruited as an Offer-of-Service, make sure you mention who recruited you. If you haven't been approached for a job yet, sign up for Program (tell them you were recruited by Greg Kear) and we'll find you a fun job!
