Registration will be accomplished using PDF forms submitted by email to the PJ2011 Registrar.  The registration and consent forms allow data entered on the form to be saved (Adobe Reader 9 or later is required) and submitted when convenient.  The PJ 2011 Registration web page provides a link to the download site for the latest version of Adobe Reader.

Registrants can download and print the forms, and use the copies to gather the necessary information.  The forms can be filled in, saved and submitted to the Registrar.
Submitted forms will be maintained on an inaccessible computer - i.e. the registration and consent form data will not be available to the internet.  Subsets of the data will be provided to PJ'11 administration personnel appropriate only to their need to know (e.g. medical services, food services, sub-camp directors, etc.)

There are two types of registrations:
  1. Unit - includes scout leaders and scouts.   This document is for the Offer of Service volunteers.  If you are registering a Unit then please refer to the Instructions for Registration for Units.
  2. Offer of Service - people volunteering to help at the jamboree.  There is one registration form for Offer of Service (OOS).  This form covers the four variants of volunteer:
  1. A member of Scouts Canada who has been recruited for a particular job at the jamboree
  2. A member of Scouts Canada who has not been recruited for a job
  3. A person who is not a member of Scouts Canada but has been recruited for a particular job at the jamboree
  4. A person who is not a member of Scouts Canada and has not been recruited for a job at the jamboree.

The OOS Registrant is to attach the registration form to an email to be sent to the Registrar - consent forms will be due at a later date (refer to Important Dates below).

Upon receipt of the registration forms by email, the Registrar will reply to the sender with a notice of confirmation.  The notice of confirmation will contain:
  1. A registration number to identify the Registrant in future communications with PJ'11 registration
  2. The total fees receivable
  3. The total deposit receivable and by when it must be received.

The Registrar will also notify PJ'11 Financial Administration that a registration has been received.

When the registration deposit fee has been received, the Registrant will be sent a permanent confirmation number (or registration number) that will be used in future communications.  The Unit Registrants will also be assigned a sub-camp number.  (Refer to "Fees" below).
