Program --- Canoes Wanted

Canoes
needed for PJ 2010 Program To all Scout Groups: The planning for PJ11 is currently underway, based on the theme of Lord of The Rings. You can bet it is going to be an exciting event! One of the off-site activities planned is the Laketown Barrel Run which is a canoeing activity. We are currently seeking out Scout Groups that have canoes available for us to borrow during PJ, July 9-16th 2011. We will need to have them available the week prior to the Jamboree. These vessels must be in decent shape, preferably with paddles and life jackets, etc. We would ensure that they are returned in good shape; any repairs required due to damage by PJ use would be paid for by the Jamboree. If your group has canoes / trailers, that would be available for us during this period, please advise us of how many your group has and an idea as to the condition, age, type, size etc. Your help in making this a successful Jamboree is truly appreciated!
